I also misunderstand the numbers and chose to forget any damage I might have taken.
Very well...

Volley: roll me a D12 to see how the G0-dust affects you!

Don't worry; it's a table of random events; it doesn't correspond to your HP.

That said...having a look at that result...would you like to use a Glitch to re-roll that d12 and hope for a better one?!

Given the nature of these RPGs, I wouldn't necessarily assume that a low roll on a random table of events is a bad one.

This was definitely a better result; worth spending that Glitch on. Now please roll a d6 for a further consequence...

Hang on...did I misunderstand this? Were you saying you spent a Glitch on passing the Toughness test?

Volley & Sen: the pass mark for the Toughness test is 10. Do either of you wish to spend a Glitch to auto-pass that Toughness test, or will you allow yourself to succumb to the effects of the G0-dust, and save your Glitches for later?
I’ll take the hit.

4 on the d12…

Hmm! You might want to Glitch that too...

If not...it's a d6 for damage roll!

Then you could use a Glitch to reduce the damage by d6...

Given my lack of self-preservation, I'll take the damage.

...That's a 6.

In the interests of not immediately dying (and so I can finish re-watching the new ad on Vurt), I'll Glitch that to reduce the damage by...

5!

So 1 damage total.

I meant to type 'k' after the numbers...
Hot-damn that is a decent haul, then! How can Doze go about translating this bike into some sweet, sweet non-organic chrome?

Using your RCD, put up an ad on the Net for a second-hand, slightly damaged cyberbike; arrange a pick-up spot. Specify instant cash transfer to your bank.

Though...your companions might expect to receive some share in the profits!

+ + +

While he watches his two companions, Volley and Doze, respectively rifle through the pockets of the biker and examine the cyberbike, particles of G0-dust blow into the taxi interior through Zola's open window.

Zola, who has developed something of a tolerance to the radioactive nanites that periodically billow through the city from the walled-off no-go site at its rotten core, is unaffected, but Sen doesn't react so well.

Sen's skin begins to rapidly blister and break out in black boils that start popping like ripe fruit. It looks extremely — almost life-threateningly — awful, but then there's a weird disturbance. An interruption of reality. The moment resets and replays again, except this time, the black boils are not so extreme and Sen is only in mild discomfort.

I pop them absent-mindedly like bubble-wrap as I scamper over to the biker. Are there any protruding bones I could remove and claim?

We'll see ¬_¬

Doze will put up the ad and list their current location for the pickup.

Is there anything I can do with my RCD if I get out of the taxi and go examine the rider to try and ascertain who they were and if there is any other pertinent information that we should probably know about them?

You'll have to let us know what the limits of these things are, but I was imagining that potentially you might be able to use them to scan people and sort of look them up on the Net or something similar.
