I would say it's a wooden building, though the two chimneys are made of stone.

I'll give you a rough map of it:

Image

The red lines in the outer walls indicate boarded-up windows.

The red rectangles in the black space indicate chimney stacks poking through the roof.

If anyone wants to try smashing through a window, use some kind of appropriate tool (rifle/shotgun butt, for example) and test GRIT (d20 with modifiers)

My fire is more than can be made with forests,
My state more base than are the basest valleys;
I wish no evenings more to see, each evening;
Shamed, I hate myself in sight of mountains,
And stop mine ears, lest I grow mad with music.

Oh, looks like there's also an extra two windows on the north wall that I missed earlier! I have now corrected the map.

Are the fires lit by any chance? Someone could get up on the roof and jam blankets down the chimney pipes and fill the house with smoke.

They're not lit, no. The place looks very run down and long abandoned. Its glory days are gone.

I guess we could drop some corpse parts down the chimneys to intimidate them?

Seeing as they seem happily occupied for now, perhaps we should search the middle building? I'm wondering if there might be something potentially useful in there (a stick of dynamite would be nice lol)

Let's double check the second outbuilding just to make sure there's no more nasty surprises in there.

You collectively observe the dogtrot house, next to the burning stable.

There are boarded-up windows on the front and sides of both cabins.

The breezeway in between the two cabins has two doors, one leading into the west and one leading into the east cabin.

The ones we fought came from the eastern hut, right? Doc will approach cautiously and peer around the doorframe (assuming it's open, nudge it open with the toe of his boot if not)...

I’ll cover the other door in case of any surprises.

I'll wait until Cumflutter and Roach have declared their positions before anything happens.

I'll follow Doc and cover the other side of the door as he's peering in. Will put my rifle down and use the pistol.

I assume the rifle we used to barricade the barn is wreaked?
