I don't like it but for a fairly shit reason. I spend all day on Teams calls and Zoom calls and my relatives seem to get some novelty kick out of it, and that annoys me. I get that you're retired or have jobs that don't require them but the calls aren't funny just through virtue of happening, so stop laughing like gurning morons.Animalmother wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 12:59 pmAm I odd for having zero interest in doing Zoom calls with friends and family? I've only done it the once and hated the experience of it. Think it might be the needless video bit, I know what they all look like. Maybe I'm just antisocial
Good luck mate. No winners there (in the short term anyway).Correndous Hunt wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 8:23 pmDivorcing an individual on the psychopathy spectrum / kids involved.
Gentlemen, I cannot even.
Takes a toll though doesn't it. Sounds like you did the right thing but making sure you look after yourself is just as important.Correndous Hunt wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:32 pmCheers!
It has been a painful few months, but thus far I have acted in a manner beyond reproach. TL;DR - my solicitor is very experienced in these cases (with such individuals as my soon to be ex). I have an extremely strong case, though I'd honestly rather just be amicable and sort things that way. Alas, no chance with her. She wants to destroy me :/ had the audacity to finally walk away y'see.
Meh. These things happen!
Sounds promising mate. Very valid Room 101 entry though.Correndous Hunt wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:51 pmIn an ideal world I want full custody of the kids, on account of her being devoid of empathy (as in - she really doesn't have any) but this ain't an ideal world. So long as we can 50/50 it, fine.
It's all good. Turns out 'the one that got away' felt the same about me, and she's just been through a divorce and blah. Slow burn but lots to be excited about.
