In regard to this new development, one interesting take is that not only did the China object appear near the port over the Yellow Sea, but that it produced itself from the water first and is now looking at getting shot down.

I am of the opinion they should be observed, rather than destroyed.

People attending a popular festival said they saw striking red flashing lights emitted by a low-flying device that cycled on and off.

Call it what you will, but shit is going down...
The object is said to have been Octagon in shape and form. Many saying this is the start of the Blue Beam agenda, but even I am not going to take things that far.
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/02/12/poli ... ude-objectBREAKING: The United States Air Force has just has shot down another UFO over Lake Huron.
"The object has been downed by pilots from the US Air Force and National Guard. Great work by all who carried out this mission both in the air and back at headquarters. We’re all interested in exactly what this object was and [its] purpose," Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich.

It keeps getting more interesting.

So they're not sure how it was staying aloft, they're not saying it was a balloon "for a reason" and they're not ruling out aliens. But it had strings attached.
What kind of alien craft is going to use string?
I'm sure this will turn out to be something mundane, if a little spicy in political terms, but I'm certainly enjoying the mystery.

Alien puppets!

Re: So what exactly did the US just shoot down above Alaska?
It'll be something really dull, like a balloon that just has the gas envelope a few thousand feet higher up, attached by some lightweight cabling. Maybe it's to avoid the weather currents at the optimum altitude, or to avoid giving it a higher radar return by separating the two parts.
They didn't say they weren't ruling out aliens, they said they weren't ruling out anything.

I'm paraphrasing the article:
He added he could not rule out that the objects were extra-terrestrials.
Re: So what exactly did the US just shoot down above Alaska?
Yeah, it's just clickbaity reporting. He's quoted later in the article:
"I will let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out," Gen VanHerck said when asked if it was possible the objects are aliens or extra-terrestrials.
"I haven't ruled out anything at this point."

I still think it'll turn out to be Chinese tomfoolery rather than aliens. China just claimed that 10 US balloons flew over it's territory last year, which sounds like an excuse a toddler caught red handed would give.

"Zib zob - what did you find?"
"Canada is fucking boring. They just keep on talking about ice hockey, whatever that is and...oh...yeah...those Americans like to shoot things"
"OK - fuck this shit, I told you Andromeda was more interesting and they have better Jazz clubs. Wagiwag - engage the drive, lets get the fuck out of here. These humans have serious issues and I don't want to get involved"
"Yes sir. Can we still get Netflix in Andromeda?"
"Maybe but their clamp down on multi-sharing will hurt. Still not yet finished The Crown season 5, what with all those shenanigans with Harry..."
Its the Chinese, but given the US has probably a network of spying just as large, these are all spy games now being played out in the public arena when they used to be behind closed doors. Its all about winning the narrative now.
The Chinese are now saying the US has used ballons over their airspace, which Biden should respond - they are weather ballons. I mean two can play at that game, its more fun.
I do think we are heading towards another global conflict within the next 5 years.
