Prizes for you guys I guess.
I'd wear that armour if I could though, very spikey
Dare someone to put it all on, bet it's cursed

Ok, quick summary.
I take the bow.
Bellis gets the amulet.
Angron gets to keep the symbols he was so mad about ¬_¬
I reckon we're all at the 250g cap by now.
Let's go turn this quest in

Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
I haven't been keeping track of how much gold you've left behind. I think it's fair to assume you're carrying the maximum 750.
Anyway...
You make your way to Whitestone Manor, bruised and one man short, and lay Dragomir's items in front of the merchant. He ignores the armour and weapons, rushing towards the small bag of artefacts & trinkets.
There is a dark look in his eyes, almost one of evil, and he is most pleased with your work. He lets you keep all of Dragomir's other items, not caring a jot. He also throws 1000 gold crowns your way.
You hastily gather the armour and weapons, hoping Lord Whitestone doesn't change his mind, and head home!
The following items are now yours!!
Great Shield of Dragomir (Toughness +2, Speed -1, BowSkill -2)
Helm of Dragomir (Tougness +1)
Platemail of Dragomir (Toughness +4, Speed -2, BoSkill -2)
Sword of Dragomir (Weapon Skill +1, Strength +1)

Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
Nice!
A lot to unpack there. I would like to take the helm though to increase my toughness, as Bellis got the amulet. I'll let the chaps (and any future team-mate) choose from the other items
I think we should also split the 1000g four-ways so whoever comes along whenever we play again gets a decent starting amount.

All over bar the shouting then.
Thanks so much Maturin for hosting us and for answering my endless repeat questions involving line of sight and shooting through doorways. I'd love to say that information will be retained, but...
Take a well-earned break, and hopefully you'll be up for DMing for us again in the future

Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
With that sword, platemail and the amulet from the tomb I think I could safely tank absolutely anything in future adventures.
Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
I forgot to add, your fame grows following this successful expedition.
All 3 of the surviving party members permanently gain 1 additional Fate Point.

Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
Do fate points recharge between adventures, so I'd go up to 3 total for the future one?

Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
Jesus, I'm buying so many pages for ripping.
Also, not a jot of wizardly loot
And I'm remarkably concerned that we've done a wrong 'un there....
Wicked adventure lads, really enjoyed, thanks Maturin for hosting.

Re: Advanced Heroquest: Quest II: The Tomb of Dragomir
Thanks for the nice messages guys, I've really enjoyed it. But it's hard work! this thread contains the most recent gold/equipment data, so all you need to do is keep hold of your character sheets and hopefully one day in the future we can carry on where we left off.

What is the random event?
Also, tell them about opening bank accounts and writing wills, Maturin.

Between tedium and fright
Such is the song of the nether world
The hissing of rats
And the jarring chants of angels

Oh okay, I was going to wait till next time, but ... "Trouble with the law". Any player carrying greek fire is fined 30GC per flask.
I think bank accounts and wills can wait. ¬_¬
