Prey sent Mantis a message and asked him to post it up, which he did. Just kind of said goodbye and maybe he'd see us around here at some distant point in the future as he was concentrating on family life now. But it looks like Prey then, in true Prey fashion, asked for it to be deleted -_-

It didn't sound that definite the way I read it, although I doubt that we will see him here any time soon.

The PM he sent asking for me to remove the thread on here implied that he wouldn't be signing up at all.

And just for clarity, he didn't ask me to post that quote. He posted a long message in the mod folder on PW and I asked him if it was alright to quote part of it just so that he could say goodbye to everyone without just fading away, as he was intending to make that his last post on PW too. He said yes, but obviously then changed his mind. I don't think he really wants any links with this place. He also said that he'd actually prefer that any messages of thanks or goodbye be posted in the closing down thread on PW, which closes tonight at 6 I should remind you. I hope some of you are around to see the end of days.

I dunno, I'm still struggling to comprehend everything honestly, but he has his reasons and we have to respect that.

I don't think I'll be there for the big switch-off, though. I said my farewells a little while ago and I think I'd rather look forward rather than back.
