Question; how many of you are still wearing a face mask when you go somewhere like a supermarket? This isn't meant as a judgement, I'm genuinely curious.
I rarely go to a big supermarket these days (I do a big shop to be delivered every six weeks or so, and buy small amounts of fresh stuff more regularly elsewhere), but popped in this morning for stuff I can't get at my usual place and realised that almost everyone was mask-less. I honestly felt a bit conspicuous.
Had a few train journeys this weekend. I wore a mask on one because it got quite busy (and I was on my way to visit my parents who are both high vulnerability), but I was one of maybe three people wearing a mask. The other trains were almost empty so I didn’t bother.
I don’t think anybody really cares or is surprised by anyone still wearing a mask, which shouldn’t matter but I find it reassuring when I’m wearing one. It’s not like people will point and laugh at the masked panic monger.

I sometimes still wear it in the supermarket and definitely on train if it's busy. There's still a good few people who wear them in most situations and no one seems to bat an eyelid.
They are running ads on tv here pretty much telling people not to be a Edwin towards anyone who still wears a mask in public.
Anywho Covid is soooo last year, it's monkey pox that's getting the headlines now. Fucking monkey pox!

Can't say I'm surprised given how badly it seemed to be affecting you on voice chat yesterday. Hopefully it won't outstay its welcome.

After three years of dodging it, looks like I've finally boarded the covid express. Only a faint line on the test result, but I feel horrendous. I can't take a sick day today or tomorrow either without it looking mega suspicious as we've got some upper management malarkey going on that has been in the calendar for ages, and I've already made a vocal point about how I'd join it remotely rather than in person out of disdain for how much of a waste of time it will be.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.
