It takes a special kind of narcissism to assume that a methodology you made up in an afternoon proves that hundreds of years of science and teaching has been lying to you.

...that being said, some countries are sized completely inaccurately on the maps we're used to. The map of the Earth that most of us are used to makes Europe look to be about the same size as South America, when in actual fact South America covers nearly twice the area of Europe.

But, y'know, I suppose it depends on how quickly the wind is blowing when you open that link.

All planar maps will distort either the area, shape, or location of what they show; it's just the reality of trying to show a three dimensional object in two dimensions. The Authagraph projection is the most accurate to date, but good luck getting schools to use that.
