Also, it was invented in Canada, not New York. ¬_¬

Couldn't watch that part of Casino for years after I first saw it.
I was eight. That probably did it.

When books and board games from my childhood are still in print today, or come back into print again after being unavailable for years.

When you're in pain and then the pain subsides; that joyous feeling of returning to normalcy.

Your knee's feeling better? What cleared it up in the end?Stormbringer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 8:58 amWhen you're in pain and then the pain subsides; that joyous feeling of returning to normalcy.

It's marginally better; not perfect. What helped was changing my shoes to a sturdier build and also wearing a double-strap backpack instead of a satchel. I think the combination of satchel and inferior shoes was resulting in a type of walk which my knee did not approve of.
However, the post above was nothing to do with my knee, but a horrible pain in my testicles which only subsided about an hour after taking some Ibuprofen. ¬_¬

Ah, ok.
In that case, couple of suggestions. The first is, get yourself checked, first yourself and by your GP if you have any concerns.
Second thing is, it could be linked to your back/knee problems. I used to get horrible pain in that area after going for long walks - it literally felt like I'd taken a hefty whack to the ballsack - and had no idea why. After a while I tracked its cause down to referred pain from my lower back (I've frequently suffered with back pain throughout my life). I did various things like buy a more comfortable desk chair, work on my posture particularly while at the computer etc, and I've not experienced that since.

A nice supportive under pant also goes a long way as we start to get a tad long in the balls. Loose boxers just don't cut the mustard anymore.
Your boys need a home. They can't just be flipping and floppin any which way.

I thought you preferred to go around with nothing on down there? ¬_¬

These are the sort of discussions that keep me coming back.
Anyway. I love and value absolute silence - the sort of silence where, for instance, the gentle rustle of a stray teste against a loose boxer short would be a signficant audible disturbance. It's hard to achieve in an urban environment, but when I stay with my family up in Orkney I always take the time to stop and listen to absolutely nothing. The first time you experience that level of quietness is startling.

I think my past escapades may have caused some scrotal trauma. I never leave the house now without a decent ball bra.Stormbringer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 1:32 pmI thought you preferred to go around with nothing on down there? ¬_¬

So now we know why forum attendance has declined over the past decade. The rise of social media? Busy life schedules? NO! Not enough testicle-talk.

How we let that gem of a name slip through the net when we we're coming up with names for the new place I'll never know.

Well, I did think of suggesting A Load of Old Balls when we were looking for names....Medicine Man wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 11:31 amHow we let that gem of a name slip through the net when we we're coming up with names for the new place I'll never know.
