His public petty remarks and I have dirt on DeSantis stance seem to be the straw that broke the camels back, the absolute turn a corner moment they are now finding themselves experiencing must be pretty sobering as well as frustrating. He may announce his run still, but the air is now leaking from the balloon very fast and all the momentum and rabid allegiance he built up especially on that subreddit in particular is going right out the window. This is the point when the party quite possibly splits with Trump making his own Magats party which in turn will help Democratic runs in the long term.

Given that we're evidently living in the darkest timeline, he's going to be president in 2024, isn't he.

Part of me thinks he's running again just so that he can use that position to claim that the assorted investigations are "witch hunts" designed to prevent conservative voters from electing their candidate (the other part obviously thinks it's just a continuation of his ego trip). His supporters will absolutely ignore the fucking mountain of evidence to the contrary if they think their rights are being impinged.
