Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
fElon, RFK Jr., and Mike Flynn will all have roles in the new government. It couldn't get much worse, but we and they will have to deal with it. As I said, the greediest people in this world, who will never fill the hole at their core, want to privatise democracy and make servants of the rest because making others pay for their soullessness is all they know. Accelerationism is in full swing.

I dread to think what Musk being in government will mean. I did think that maybe being close to Trump in the White House would instil a desire to go for the job himself at a later point, but he's currently ineligible because he's not a natural-born US citizen. That's pretty enshrined in the constitution, but who's to say that can't be changed?
RFK Jr, for those who don't know, is a massive conspiracy nut. He believes in the vaccines-cause-autism bullshit. He's tipped to be part of the health department.

RFK has admitted to having a brain parasite from eating raw wild animal meat and dumping a rotting bear carcass in Central Park. He's a fucking nut.
I think Musk will eventually clash with Trump as they are both egotistical narcissists and there can only be one in the room. Plus doesn't Tesla have factories in China?
I wonder if he'll hold up his promise to go after all the people who wronged him in the past 8 years, that's a pretty big list as well. All the lawsuits against him will no doubt disappear. Horrible Edwin.

They projected what is coming just this past week: "You (not us) will have hardship whilst we destroy everything, (we will be just fine thank you) and then...who knows".

Remember, Trump has literal free reign to do whatever he wants now, with a Supreme Court offering immunity and ready to grease his way to get what they want (Opus Dei control)...Thiel has his stooge ready and waiting for trump to suddenly be "incapable of office"....the worst people of this planet have enabled and commandeered trump his entire life, and there is no stopping what that cabal wish to achieve at our (decent "normal" people's) expense. We are going to find out just what Project 2025 is all about now, they are unfettered.

Because I think all you can do at this point is enjoy a bit of schadenfreude, it's startling how similar the US election result feels to the days after the Brexit referendum. Tons of people going online to say how happy they are that Trump won, because he's going to disassemble that evil, communist Obamacare and that they'll do just fine on the all-American Affordable Care Act, and only now are they realising that they're the same thing. They've been hoodwinked by their own candidate because Obamacare was just a derogatory Republican name for an actual piece of legislation, and they've just voted themselves out of their own sodding healthcare that they rely on. Even more are now understanding that the customers pay the tariffs eventually, not the exporters, and are now shocked that games consoles might reach $1000 which is going to affect all of those incel-ish young men that apparently turned up in droves.
At least if US democracy survives the next four years, they'll probably elect a Democrat again even if it's because half of Trump's voter base didn't.

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
But... but Trump said Mexico would pay the 25% tariffs, so it must be true!
I mean he made them pay for the wall last time, right? The wall that he definitely finished and has solved the problem with rampant Mexican immigration, which is why tariffs are needed, because... erm... you know. USA!

I don’t know, trumps getting a real good economy and all the fruits from Bidens infrastructure bill among others. He’ll convince so many it’s all because of him.

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
And so goes the cycle of US politics. The Republicans make shit of the economy and the incoming Democrats spend years trying to repair the damage, all while getting the blame from the Republicans. Just as things are starting to normalize, the dumbfucks vote the Repubs back in and on it goes. It's a very simplified way of putting it but I don't think its incorrect.
Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
It's something of a recurring trend in Western politics at the moment, it's happening all over Europe too. People are unhappy, so they're voting for change, regardless of the bigger picture. It was always going to be easier for Trump to sell this than Biden / Harris because all he's done is incite an insurrection and get convicted of 34 felonies, he hasn't been the one in charge of the economy. All he has to do is stop saying how attractive his daughter is and giving blowjobs to microphones for 5 minutes to blame the Democrats for inflation and he's in.
But the thing is it felt like an open goal this time, as Harris was constantly trying to pretend to not be the incumbent while also not throwing Biden under the bus, and she just didn't seem able to approach the topic because of it. And to be fair, selling economic policies to people that don't understand economics on a national or global level isn't the easiest thing in the world - the exact same thing happened with Brexit and it's one of the reasons we leapt face-first over that particular cliff. People understand blame, they don't understand quantitative easing.

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
I don't doubt that Trump will probably do absolutely nothing to help the regular working American given the policy platform he's likely to enact, but the narrative that Biden did a good job with the economy is misleading because a lot of American's aren't seeing the results of that in their salaries and costs of living. GDP might be good but inflation and wages not keeping up has left a lot of people feeling left behind and Trump captured a lot of those voters. The die hard Trump voters will no doubt have some cognitive dissonance at the end of his term to justify why he did no wrong even if he screws them over again, but I think the Republicans will struggle to win the next election if he really does slap massive tariffs on everyone which will sky rocket prices across the board.
The echo chambers online who are claiming Harris lost due to sexism and misogyny just don't get it that not everyone who voted against her is like that. The whole woke agenda/trans argument is much bigger over there than it is here, but the economy is always the issue that captures those swing voters.
Alistair Campbell said on his podcast that he reckons she ran a good campaign but being realistic I think she was dreadful.

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Some of the most repeated google searches the day before the election were "did Biden drop out?" "can I vote for president without being registered?" and "Who is running for president?". Says it all really!
