Re: Advanced Hero Quest: Quest I: The Halfling Cook
My understanding, to sum up:
1. Bellis runs to the left of Gibnar.
2. Terence moves one step north.
3. Paulox moves one step north.
4. Gibnar stays put.

It's a perfect plan!
By the way, here's the current map, so people don't have to trawl back through the thread:

Re: Advanced Hero Quest: Quest I: The Halfling Cook
Thank you.
Okay, with shouts of orcish rage and confusion, the orcs move about in the room. One of them charges out to take on the Heroes. He attacks Terence with his sword, but Terence easily parries his blow. The other orcs hang back to see what will happen.
HERO PHASE again.
What do you guys do?

It may change depending on what the others do, but at this point I think I shall be casting dragon armour on Terence on my go. Might be worth me going first so I can do that before he attacks?

Doesn't matter, as it only adds extra armour to him; it will only be useful when he is attacked.

Ok, I wasn't sure if the orc gets a chance to riposte upon being attacked. Sorry, bit of a noob with this.Stormbringer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 7:53 pmDoesn't matter, as it only adds extra armour to him; it will only be useful when he is attacked.

Good point; there is a chance that could happen if he fumbles his weapon.

Ah! Ok, seeing as that would be so Terence, maybe I should do that first and then let the others get stabby.Stormbringer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 7:55 pmGood point; there is a chance that could happen if he fumbles his weapon.

Re: Advanced Hero Quest: Quest I: The Halfling Cook
I'll move up one square into the space next to the Orc and proceed to bosh him with my axe.
Turn order; myself, Terence, Gibnar, Paulox.

We'll see if Bellis manages to kill it first, then I'll decide what to do. I might just charge in the room tbh.
EDIT: Although I've just noticed one of them is guarding the door, so I'd have to stop there and I'd be exposed...

Bellis moves one space north and attacks the Orc.
Roll 1d12 please, Bellis.
