Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
A man who could tell more truth and eat fewer pies.

It’s like Meryl Streep giving one of her Oscars to the loudest brat in a school play who’s wailing because he didn’t get enough applause.

If someone presented me with the FA Cup tomorrow it wouldn't make me a bloody championship footballer! FFS, the sheer neediness of the man, he's a complete toddler.

It's just so utterly cringeworthy. The Nobel Prize commission have come out and said that the actual prize is non-transferrable, just to make sure that nobody thinks this moron actually has one.

“It is the trophy that the winner of the FIFA World Cup wins,” Infantino explained to Trump in a way that some social media users mocked as patronizing. “Only the FIFA president, presidents of countries and then those who win can touch it, because this is for winners only. And since you are a winner, of course, you can touch it. It’s pretty heavy.”

They will name new narcissistic and sociopathic disorders after Trump in the future. Which he would un-ironically love the idea of.Alan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 2:09 amhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2 ... mpaign=rss
I feel embarrassed for him

Wow, she even used their "Peace through strength" language. Everyone else in the world can see how condescending this is, but I bet he lapped it up.
My question is what she's getting out of this, or at least hoping to. America doesn't want her in charge unless she's going to be a better US puppet than the replacement for Maduro, and I've not seen anything to suggest he's not toeing the line. Trump doesn't give a shit how corrupt Venezuela's government is so long as he's lining his pockets.

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange
He's unbelievably petty.BBC wrote:US President Trump has sent a letter to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, saying "The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland".
Trump also says he no longer feels "an obligation to think purely of Peace" after Norway "decided not to give" him the Nobel Peace Prize.
I'm guessing Starmer's speech will be the diplomatic equivalent of a stern glare. Maybe a raised eyebrow and even a tut.
EDIT - Pretty much that. He looked close to tears.

Even Hickock 45 has had enough and has admitted "no one will come to save us" — he is never political in his vids. There is a growing realisation over there, amongst "sensible" citizen conservatives, that they have a rogue government, how organised that will get is another matter. The idea that US soldiers might have to draw blood of EU allies might be the final straw...

I don't think it will come close to actual boots on the ground and shots fired. Trump has minimal Republican support for military action in Greenland, which means he would have to give the order unilaterally (and illegally). I wouldn't put that past him, but at that point it would rely on military leaders obeying him and I doubt many would, given the severity of the order and its complete illegality in both domestic and international terms. It could conceivably push the US closer to a civil war, but even then I don't think most Americans give a shit about Greenland, don't understand the big fuss about it, and likely aren't about to die on that particular hill.
Or I'm entirely wrong and it'll be WW3 and we're all fucked.
Frankly, I think it's a convenient distraction for Trump to take focus off ICE.

Anything to take attention from the Epstein Files more like.
I've seen multiple videos and articles saying Trump will never take Greenland, it's all hot air and distraction. The one thing that is 100% certain is that the US is no longer to be trusted or can be relied on. Even if Democrats take over, the damage is generational.

Good, to be honest. A more federalised Europe that looks after itself and with closer economic ties is a good thing in my book. Europe is more consumer friendly than America in general, the more the area can be seen as a stable power the more global influence we can take off them to the benefit of every country in the bloc. Quality of life in mainland Europe is already ahead. We are miles behind the US big tech firms but decoupling ourselves from them is only going to be beneficial in the long run.Animalmother wrote: ↑Mon Jan 19, 2026 11:28 amEven if Democrats take over, the damage is generational.
Screw America. Having them as global hegemon for 80 years has been fine when they were on our side and we benefitted from their power projection. The downside has been we have imported so much of their culture and ridiculous issues that are slowly taking hold. I'd be happy if we sacked the lot of it off.
