So you can.

Amended. The above one should never expire now.

Anyone else having an issue in which the forum randomly freezes or takes a long time to load? Trying to figure out if my browser acting up or not.

Yeah, sometimes it just doesn't load for like 30s, then it's fine again.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

I believe it's issues server side. It's been intermittent for the last few days.

I've been informed there will be server maintenance at midnight tonight for a short period. Hopefully that will address these issues as they only seem to have gotten worse over the last few days.

Bit ropey opening the site on phone the past few days for anyone? Nothing terrible, just a wee bit slow...
Now it's working perfectly fucks sake..

Ropey again tonight, getting time out errors.

Um, it's also running PHP 7.3, which is absolutely ancient and unsupported, yikes. 7.4 is also dead, and 8.0...

Looks like this host are more geared towards WordPress, at a guess? Maybe I'm out-of-date there though, but I've not seen anyone except WordPress folks using LiteSpeed server. :-k

Edit: looked 'em up, this is the website header, boom:

I can't say I've noticed a single problem in the last few week.

I realise I'm probably the only person here who leaves the forum tab open in the background all day, but has anyone else today noticed the forum timing out and getting booted and needing to reload the page to re-enter?

That might be a Chrome "feature" if you use that. Instead of doing any work to stop Chrome using all your RAM, they've started pausing (or something) the tabs you've not used in a while.

I tend to leave all my forum tabs open, but I do restart my browser fairly often so they're not days old or anything.

Has someone made a change to the forum layout? My screen is 'backwards' with the details of the poster to the right of the post and the buttons at the bottom of the screen have reversed. I have used forums in the standard layout forever and this reversal just makes my brain scream wrong.

EDIT and it has just reverted. Bizarre!

I vaguely recall a major version of phpBB defaulted to a horrible new theme where everything was backwards, but none of the available ones in User Control Panel look like that… bizarre!

Just happened to me - think it changes between being logged out and logged in.
