The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Normal Edition
Re: The 'I Just Bought' Thread - Normal Edition
So to justify buying another guitar to the wife, I've convinced her I can't use either of the electrics to play nursery rhymes to the baby.
She bought it, hook line and sinker
It's an Ibanez AEWC32FM-GBL. I've held my dads acoustic before and found it too bulky, so liked the idea of a slimmer bodied electro-acoustic. It's still an adjustment from the electrics, but it feels nice and it sounds lovely.

I don't see why you can't do heavy metal nursery rhymes on your electric... ¬_¬

One of the "Exotic wood" series? Amazing guitars, Ive owned 3. I cant remember the model but the dark brown six string is one of my favorite guitars and the light couloured 12 is one of the most beautiful guitars Ive ever owned/seen.

Decided I needed a new comfy chair for reading & watching TV, so got this leather recliner. Tried it out first of course.
My back feels better already having used it for a week or so now. Can be a bit too comfy sometimes though, I never want to get up.

How much was that? My wife wants something similar, so over the last three years we've picked up two second hand ones, both of which are hideously ugly. I want to get rid of them both but my wife's not so keen. If I show her this, she might change her mind. ¬_¬

It's an 'Anton Leather Recliner' - I got it for £280 new. There's a few online places that sell it around the same price (I got it from Dunelm).
You can spend a fortune on some leather recliners, so I'm really happy how comfy and solid this is at the price.

You can do that Chandler and Joey synchronised feet up thingy from Friends. With an exaggerated sigh when you hit max recline

Dunelm do 2 and 3 seater leather recliners too.... I'd have bought the 2 seater already if they'd had one in the store I visited.... But the 3 seater seemed ok... Ish

If it's like the one my parents have, it's the OAP slow electric motor driven feet up thing with a groan

Making me relax just looking at. That would be lethal in my house, I'd never wake up again.

Wife got me one of those fellas when I came out of hospital, six years on it's still a joy.

Another semi-unnecessary bargain from Amazon (it's only a bargain if you need it and all that). Philip Gelatt's Petrograd about the assassination of Rasputin with artwork by Tyler Crook.
Check out that tasty cover!
Also despite my best efforts not to, I have managed to acquire yet another Amiibo. Not only are they starting to spread like the plague in my house, but my desire to keep on buying them is also spreading like the aforementioned plague through my mind.
I may not need help now, but I can see the need for it in my future.

The Mario Encyclopedia is finally out over here. Rejoice!
I did have the Special Edition ordered but I cancelled it when I finally came to my senses. The only real difference was a pishy slipcase and it most certainly wasn't worth the extra cash. Hooray for sensible decisions!
And I also got myself a 'new' car, although it'll only technically be mine until the eldest passes their driving test, but still.
