It's another Gretchin, all alone in the corner.

Just to remind you, they have 1 white dice in H2H combat and your bolt pistols give your Bolter 3 white dice.

Although with 0 armour, you only need 1 damage to kill it while firing.

I roll a 6 in defence (again!), which is useless. So you beat me by 1 to 0 and the Gretchin is dead. I stuck you in S21 to make the H2H attack.

It just shows how risky H2H combat is though, you only scored 1 with 3 dice. If I'd rolled a 2 you'd be dead right now!

Yep you would have line of sight to hit square R18 that's between those 2 enemies. Good spot.

You detect 2 enemies close together and fire your rocket launcher between them, scoring 3 damage on 1 dice.

I can reveal you have just killed an Ork and another Gretchin! Suspensors really give the Imperial Fists a movement advantage over the other teams, especially in the first turn when the blips are placed down.

A strong start for the Imperial Fists as they move sleekly into the Alien-infested ship, dispatching Greenskins with ease, apart from one close battle with a Gretchin. The Blood Angels are a little bogged down.

I think I erred by opening that first door so soon, thus meaning no enemies could be stationed inside. Lesson learned for next time.

Yeah, I typically try to spread the Aliens out a bit as best I can, but I can only put them where you can't see them.

I'm a bit underpowered in these first 2 missions against 3 squads tbh, but that all starts to change from mission 3 onwards. They'll come a point where your goal will simply be to get the Commander back to the airlock alive.
