I rolled an 11 first (9+2), so a miss.

Second was 21 (19+2), 3 on the d4 for damage

GTDS makes a couple of thrusts with his dagger.

The first misses as the undead knocks his arm away, but he cunningly slips another attack around the creature's defence and plunges the blade into its rotten flesh.


Meanwhile, Lord Margar comes running down the hall with his sword!

I suspect all of this is probably going to kill the skeleton, but if not, Fechr will rush it with his axe.

If the skeleton is dead, I'd like to peer around the corners to see what's beyond the middle point of this corridor.

Everything seems to be in order here. Malaiz slips back into the room where the guard is and sits in front of him. His hand slowly reaches under his poncho. The guards eyes open wide in expectant horror...then confusion as the weird little man produces a small leather bag and empties 27 pointy stones on the table. Malaiz, in excruciating detail, explains how he came across each stone.

The guards tortured screams can be heard echoing down the hallways.

Lord Margar cuts down the undead horror; its broken form crumples in a heap beneath his flashing blade.

Standing in the centre of the hallway, Margar, Fechr and GDTS see corridors leading north and south, with pairs of double-doors on either side.

Light coming from the ends of both north and south corridors suggests there are other torchlit passages leading off around hidden corners.

The door to the east continues to thump and rattle.
