Lord Margar thrusts the undead with the Staff of Awful Light, dealing it a grave wound, though not enough to finish it off!

However, the creature is stunned by the blow, and Lord Margar may strike again!


MEANWHILE, opening the door to the room, Giant Dances the Sea finds a quiet, dark storage room, filled with crates, barrels and boxes.

Hiding among these are what appear to be four terrified-looking peasants, very much alive! They look upon him with great terror.

Giant will gesture excitedly at the peasants, encouraging them towards the entrance. A ghastly approximation of human speech emerges from his voice-hole. "Come! Freedom!"

Giant will then lead them towards the eastern doorway, hoping for a panicked stampede along the walkway...

Lord Margar thrusts the Staff's blade of unknown metal into the undead once again, and it staggers backwards over the wooden walkway, tumbling down off the castle wall into the snow-shrouded valley below with a final sepulchral shriek.


The next undead, armed with a sword, comes staggering along the scaffold, to fill the gap in the doorway! Lord Margar has the initiative and my attack it first!

Margar is busily engaged in hand-to-hand with undead in the doorway. There's not much room for them to get past! The four peasants stand cringing in the hallway, watching his Lordship heroically battle.
