The timing of this says it all. The queen could have chucked Andrew under a bus at any point since the allegations came out, but it's only now that his last hope of avoiding a trial appears to have slipped away that she's acted. It's not as if any new information has come to light. Seems clear that she was banking on it all being swept under the rug, like these things usually are with those at the top.

Yeah, those are my thoughts too. I've seen sympathy for the Queen in light of what happened yesterday (they've taken the elderly lady who recently lost her husband angle), but let's not forget that she's probably known for years and this is likely a damage limitation measure because she knows full well that he's guilty and this will soon be public.

Logan Paul, who has lost three and a half times as much money buying fake Pokemon cards as he donated to a suicide prevention charity following the suicide victim debacle, thinks publicly admitting how massive a chump he is going to be good for his brand.

Just... fucking hell.
