Yeah you can do that!
Margar leans the Staff against the wall, leaps over the bear-trap into the room, rushes over to the desk, grabs the Blade of the Ancestors and swings it at the last undead!
Test Strength, Margar! d20 + 5!

Now roll a d6, followed by d6+1!

Margar cuts down the last undead with the heirloom blade, and the room is still: a scene of carnage. Bloody bones, rotten flesh and dented weapons lying scattered about between toppled chairs.
Of all the items lying thereabouts, the most interesting is something that glints in the light of the torches: an oxidised necklace with a shining opal set in it, worn about the neck of the undead lord who sat upon Baron Risten's throne. This being, whomever he was, now lays sprawled and hacked to pieces upon the floor, cut down by his own minions, thanks to Malaiz' spell.

I hold my sword up close to my face.
"Did you miss me? While you've been lounging about here gaining rust, I've recovered the Staff of Awful Light, rescued innocent folk, defeated a veritable army of the undead and gained a barony. I trust that will be enough to stem your insults for a few hours, blade?"

Giant raises a finger as if to point out that he has now twice recovered the Staff of Awful Light, but thinks better of it...

Malaiz tiptoes through the carnage, kicking aside a severed head here and there. He starts checking the mass of burnt and chewed carcasses for anything useful.
Re: MÖRK BORG: Chapter II: The Greed Lineage
Well, while those two are otherwise engaged, Giant will creep slyly over to the opal around the undead lord's neck and examine it more closely.

It is a fine piece of ancient heirloom jewellery; probably worth a fair amount. Or so Precious tells Giant.

BLADE OF THE ANCESTORS:
"Took you long enough! I've been waiting here for a month for you. But you haven't gained a Barony yet, boy. This castle still crawls with dozens of the undead, below and outside. They're his ancestors, you know. I remember that one...him over there, with the necklace. A greedy and powerful warlord. He built this castle, long ago, and ruled these lands with an iron fist. The history of his dynasty is in the reliquary downstairs...if you can bring yourself to read it. I believe he has returned from the dead to fulfil some sort of oath. Pity you can't ask him to explain..."

Malaiz glances over to see both his companions having what appears to be intense discussions with inanimate objects. He's starting to feel a bit left out.

I speak to everyone: “You heard the sword, to the reliquary!”
Before I head downstairs, is there anything else of interest in the room?

There's a door in the corner of the room:

There are also notes on Baron Risten's desk.
