It's stern tutting - enough to claim we've done something (in the flimsiest possible terms), not enough to provoke any real retaliation from Putin.

Also note that the Russian banks having sanctions imposed on them doesn't include Sberbank, where Mogg has his investments.

Seemingly the investment company sold their shares in the bank at the end of January. I suppose you could call that prudent given this situation has obviously been brewing for a while, but as it's Rees Mogg I can't help but assume something dodgy is going on.

When WW3 does finally break out one day, we're going to get to watch it live from a thousand different phone livestreams like some grim car crash unfolding in front of us that we can't help but watch. The amount of footage already out there of missiles being fired at helicopter squads and bombs falling on airbases is crazy.
