President Carter has chosen to leave the hospital to be at home for palliative care and his family say he is at peace with what may come. He is my first political hero, who opened my young eyes to compassionate politics and a man who should have had a second term if not for the worst that politics inspires, which rose against him and began the painful trail from Reagan to today. I hold him up and wish his spirit well as he journeys, his service to his country and its people was literally life-long, from volunteering to help in the Chalk River nuclear reactor meltdown in 1952 to 98 and still working every day with his Habitat for Humanity home-building charity until very recently. Remarkable man.
Everything on the internet is 100% true.

Did he also make the original Playstation 1 boot sound? That one in particular really tugs at my nostalgic heart strings whenever I hear it.
