Actually, if my memory serves wasn't there a problem with the database in the early years of PW - resulting in those stats being lower then they should be? I'm sure I heard it talked about at some point.

So there probably were more than a million posts over the 15 years.

I think that database issue was fixed in the end. Though when you consider how many topics were pruned over the years back before Prey set up the archive folder I imagine we did pass one million overall.

I just went and refreshed all of our stats on the PW server. Turns out the database was way off sync with what everyone's post counts actually are due to all the threads that've been deleted over the years, so most members have just lost between 1000-2000 posts from their counts. ¬_¬

I lost 5000 posts. Of the 17,000 I had those were probably all the good ones. ¬_¬

Ouch. I think a lot of early threads from 2003-2004 were deleted years ago but the stats were never updated to reflect it, so it makes sense why the earliest registered members have been impacted the most. I only lost about 1000 in total.
