She was a friend of my late uncle who was a stage actor in Canada - he absolutely adored her. RIP, for me she will always be Wendy Torrance.

The guy was a crook, but an extremely entertaining one. I watched an interview with him from a few years back recently, and while he was almost certainly playing up for the camera a little, he did actually talk like that. He could have been A Thespian, or a character on Frasier. Probably both.
