Been 48hrs since my first jab, no ill effects, no sore arm, nothing.
Roll on May 8th.

Both my parents have had their first one, no effects at all, not even a sore arm (which I did get for a few days after a seasonal flu jab).

Father-in-law is also done, just waiting for the only fit and healthy one of them all (MiL) and we'll have the full set!

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

Just had round 1. Sore arm in the beginning, some pins and needles but surviving so far.

Yeah, my arm was quite sore after the jab on Saturday, and felt a bit under the weather that evening, but was mostly ok again by the next day.

So today started off mostly OK, now taken up by a fuzzy head, tiredness, acheing of bones, basically flu like symptoms. Taken me out of the running for the evening.

There I was, right, queuing at the supermarket like a model citizen, with my mask nice and snug (it plays havoc with beard shape, you can't even begin to imagine), doused in enough sanitizer to clean a decent sized hospital, when I noticed my shoe was untied.

So I bend down and quick as a flash this blue-rinsed little Yoda, this blatantly vaccinated Covid terrorist, sweeps around me like a rickety Kevin de Bruyne and steals my place as next in line.
The door guardian was conveniently busy with her blue roll and they don't have VAR in supermarkets, so arguably the greatest injustice since Wat Tyler (a hero, Google him) went completely unpunished. But I'll remember; Astra Zeneca doesn't protect against hungry fat men, sweetheart.

And yeah, I'm aware that looks like I'm threatening an octogenarian, but I've been indoors for so long that I'm genuinely forgetting the social norms. Will you still love me when I'm feral?

Did you bollock the old dear out of it or let the heinous crime slide? Looks like the war between those who are vaccinated and the pestilent masses has begun!!

Proof, if any was needed, that the covid vaccination only protects you from covid, and sadly doesn't cure your ability to be a total Edwin.

Even when I'm fully vaccinated I'm still going to wear a mask tbh. I realise I didn't provide an update from earlier on in the week, I'm happily mended now.

I let it ride, I was too flabbergasted at the cheek to do anything but look on in wonderment.
