I think the *shank* - AHA! - *shank* moment from tonight is one of my favourite moments of the entire campaign
In retrospect, I should have just fireballed them. #-o

I've got an inkling that had you provoked the bandits into a full blown fight rather than let them retreat then things may not have ended well. Combined with the general condition of the party and Breogar still chasing you from the cave I think a TPK may have been on the cards in that scenario.

So really it all worked out for the best I would say.

No D&D this week chaps as Bird has some scheduling conflicts. Next week should be okay though.

If it helps I can do Monday next week, should we all be able to pick ourselves up from the wailing and lamentations of the queen’s funeral.

Yes, I expect I'll have finished with rending my garments and gnashing my teeth by evening-time, so Monday would be fine here.

Did we decide if we’re doing tonight or sticking with Thursday?

It'll have to be Thursday this week as I've got commitments tonight.

I knew Tomb of Levistus was going to come in handy at some point, but I wasn't expecting to use it on literally the first attack after taking it. It's a bit of a double-edged sword as if I don't take the full 50hp of temporary hitpoints it gives me in that one hit, I have to skip my next go.

I *am* going to end up accidentally calling it Tomb of Leviticus at some point though, which has very different connotations.
