That's because it has been, October 28th was our last session!

That's why I was really keen to nudge Bird into letting me run Murrik in his absence.

So are we going for the usual 8-10pm slot, or are we going to try earlier/longer?

Either is fine for me.

Let's just stick with 8-10 for today seeing as we're down a player.

Is the pacing of things alright for you guys? I'm conscious that my descriptions during all the combat might be dragging things out too much. I thought we might have been able to get through both of those encounters tonight but that first fight took a lot longer than I expected and I think that was in part down to my narrating the beats of the fight. I quite enjoy doing it but if it's slowing things down too much I can tone it back a bit.

I like the narration. I was never very good at roleplaying Charr in combat, but I feel like I've got more options with Arctiss, and I don't want encounters to just be us rolling dice.

Oh, absolutely. This is role-playing after all so I'm loving all the detail :D

Yeah, works for me!

I think the next spell I pick will definitely be combat-oriented though. I do have Burning Hands in my spellbook (unprepared at the moment), which is useful as an AoE spell, but not so much against fire creatures.

Okay good stuff.

I don't suppose people have any availability/taste for a Saturday session do they? We could potentially squeeze one in this weekend and make it a slightly longer one with a full roster.

Yeah, I could do this Saturday and probably next Saturday (I'm meant to be at a Christmas dinner but the omicron variant's just been identified here, so that's not happening).

Would it be possible to have the session in the afternoon rather than the evening on saturday? I'm in either way, I just have a bit of a routine on a saturday, but it can be rearranged.

Maybe in future but I think Bird won't be around until "after dinner time" at the earliest. So we'd be looking at a start time somewhere in the region of 6pm to 8pm depending on what you consider dinner time.
