what is this obsession about a land bridge to Crimea? A Crimean navy is pointless as any ship needs to go through Istanbul which is Turkey which is NATO. So if a naval war breaks out between Russia and NATO that entire warm sea navy is neutralised.
Someone educate me.

I suppose they can get to the Middle East by sea and the Med but all Northern Med is NATO, again - what is the point?

I watched that the other day - it's by far the best summary of the reasons for Russia's failures that I've seen.

Apparently Ukraine is one if the world's biggest suppliers of wheat and Russia is the biggest of fertilizer. One can't grow and the other can't sell. Food prices around the world are rising and there's a very real danger of famine in some countries already struggling.

Thanks Putin..

The village of Oleksandrivka, Kherson, might have some disturbing news coming out soon....Russian "outlets" are already seeding their "The Ukrainians are preparing provocations in order to blame Russia" stories... :(

Apparently "Bitch" and "Fuck" are the only Russian words required if all these videos are anything to go by.

сука блять!

Yeah, I've thought it funny in the past how RU swear words came into full view of the Western worlds, thanks to online gaming, begetting memes for yonks. I have an entire softcover book about how to swear in Russian, it's quite extensive. Suka blyat stands out thanks to its brevity and easily pronounced consonants, I think, but Russian swearing is an artform, especially in the military.

Jesus, this is an incredibly grim read. I used to be sympathetic to Russian conscripts dying in Ukraine but that's completely gone now, fuck them all.

Wheat will be next, its a good idea to have a stock of flour, the next couple of years will have big pressure on farmers to keep up with demand. Not just wheat itself, but the fertilizer and crop sprays that go with growing it. There will be a drop in yields and quality, so bread and biscuit flours will be at a premium.
