Yeah, as far as I’m aware there’s no reason you can’t use both haste actions to dash.

The reading of that is quite clear to me actually. You could use the second action to dash and get the bonus movement on top of your full standard speed. It doesn't technically affect your standard movement pool.

"The increase equals your speed, after applying any modifiers"

So you could move 80ft, dash 80ft as a bonus and then dash an additional 80ft bonus. Beforehand I was treating dash as x2 your movement when the wording of it is actually that you get an additional amount equal to your movement. So if done correctly that be 80+80+80 = 240 ft per round, not 160+160.

An interesting technicality but I'm sure will prove to never come in use at all during an actual session.

Ah, the good old days of weaponising Truss with a tactical Haste...

Hmm, actually yes you're right; dash gives you a bonus movement equal to your speed, but doesn't actually affect the speed stat itself, so you're not doubling it up when you dash for it then to be doubled a second time.

So the calculation for Opus would be:
30 standard, to 50 with Ashardalon's Stride, haste to 100, feline agility to 200, dash to 400, dash again to 600. I'm not likely to ever need to move 600 feet in one round, but I can't help but be disappointed it's only 110kph.

Rules are fun!

Think Pete's on holiday.

I'm at a drag show too so wouldn't be able to make it anyway.

The hat of wizardry does a lot of the heavy lifting.

I suspect that would be considered more than a Minor Illusion.

Were we having a game this week? I forget whether Pete's still on holiday or not.

I think we may end up having to postpone this week after all, as I've been up half the night with some stomach bug or food poisoning and am feeling somewhat husk-like. I'll confirm this afternoon in case I pick up, but for now I'd assume it's unlikely.

Sorry to hear that mate, hope you feel better soon.

I'll be hanging around the forum around that time tonight just in case!
