Case File Number 1 - The Dyatlov Pass Incident -

An avalanche has been listed as the official cause of the mystery deaths but even that particular slab theory has since raised even more questions. I've looked into the incident extensively myself over the years and I'm still largely unsure what to make of it.

The Room With No Door Thread - Your wild theories put to the test
Building the future, and keeping the past alive - are one and the same thing.
Re: The Room With No Door Thread - Your wild theories put to the test
There will probably never be a definitive answer, but reading that my feeling is it was something to do with military weapons testing - the radiation on the bodies, the strange lights/fireballs in the sky the indigenous people saw at that time, the way the autopsies were carried out and then how the bodies and paperwork were spirited away by the authorities. As for the strange injuries (missing eyes etc), I would think that's down to animal scavenging.

I remember seeing something about a very similar incident happening recently to a group of Swedish hikers and one guy survived, it was a mini avalanche determined as the cause. I just can't seem to find where exactly I saw that though.
