I was staggered by the 10 today, there must have been 5 of the 10 I just guessed.

That first one was a cop-out considering three of them are regulars and Bruce Willis once guested.

Looks like me and Snowy will be finishing level on points, but in the case of a tie the title goes to whoever won the most daily quizzes, so congratulations Snowy! :)

Started the month like he meant business and managed to keep up the pace throughout.

Some good quizzing this month folks. Right to the wire stuff.

I'm sure I'll do a complete month one day.

Thank you - nice to topple you from your throne although I am sure it will be a short-lived coup :)

Annoyed by the wording for some of today's questions, particularly the Stephen King one. I'm guessing it's been pulled from a very specifically themed quiz where it fits in, but in a job lot it might as well be in Greek for all the sense it made to me.

Yes one of my pet peeves with the quiz is how some questions have been written as if part of a set and individually make no sense. I assume you chose Maine too :D

Damn. I wish I had checked here first and maybe I wouldn't have also chosen Maine. :P

Anyone who has read Stephen King would have chosen it :)

The scoring is really weird in that quiz. It seems to be quite dependent on the nuber of people playing it. but doesn't really reward first place that well. It's all very odd :)
Still, with so many of you lot obviously cheating I never hod out much hope of winning the monthly. It's a daily win that I'm after (and today is not one of them)

:?:

Not sure how you would go about cheating. Some of the crazy times are just familarity with the questions, although it has been proven that I lack the hand-eye dexterity to match the best of those :)

Familiarity with some questions (although I maintain in some cases the wrong answer is so ingrained into me that I choose it again immediately because it's the one that's familiar ), also getting used to the way it phrases questions, going for 'all of these' wherever they crop up as 99% of the time they're correct.

I made the mistake once of trying to do it on my phone... the text came out so small I had to individually zoom in and move the screen across each question, I think I ended up with a 200s+ time, or something like that

TBF Snowy, I think Rusty was being tongue in cheek.

Oh god yeah. All tongue in cheek. If anyone beats me in any game they're obviously cheating as there's no other way I could lose ever.

Plus people actually getting the questions right helps. I think I got 5 out 10 yesterday.

Speaking of cheating, I did marvellous today.
