Brilliant indeed. Painfully so . . . Since I'm living in this nightmare.

This week's Last Week Tonight did an article on the rise of authoritarian leaders (Putin, Duterte , Bolsonaro) and then compared their styles to Trump's, and I now can't help but see everything he says as genuinely sinister rather than just misguided or lies. His joking about killing reporters during the campaign was particularly unnerving now given how he has continued talking about the media since becoming president.

Trump's lawyer lied to Congress about Trump's dealings in Russia. Who would have thought?
This sounds bad, but honestly if it's just his business dealings then it's probably going to be embarrassing but not overly damaging (let's face it, the guy got elected on the pillars of sexual assault and racism; his supporters will probably accept just about anything). If it leads to even shadier stuff, then it may cause him trouble.

Trump walks off stage leaving the Argentinian president looking like a spare prick. You can actually hear laughter in the video.

He didn't want to be standing there alone. He doesn't see the President of Argentina as being important you see. I think the idea was that they were going to gather for a leaders' group photo, but those two were first.
Makes you wonder what Michael Flynn told them then if he got off without jail time. Paul Manafort is also due to be sentenced early next year, reading about him made my skin crawl, utter fucking scumbag.
