30 years is optimistic.

I've honestly drawn up a list of everywhere I want to go before it all blows up.

Had a bit of a sore and creaky ankle the last few months anyway. I'm ready for the end.

I saw this this morning and thought "You know what, we are too fucking stupid to sit at the top of the food chain. The planet will be better off once we are extinct. At the point at which we really need some big brains making the right decisions to allow us to walk into a brighter future, the baying hordes are too busy trying to accelerate the demise of the species. What a sad epitaph for thousands of years of evolution."

Glad I don't have kids tbh.

Sorry, but that's actually worse than anything Trump has ever said.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-st ... arture-60/

Video and transcript of a typical car-crash press conference from a few days ago, but this bit in particular (about 27min in) is astounding:
Q Are you talking to the victims of mass shootings to ask them what they want?

THE PRESIDENT: I did. I went to the hospitals —

Q What are you hearing from them about what they want from guns laws?

THE PRESIDENT: I will tell you this: I went to the hospitals. It was totally falsely reported. There were beautiful, beautiful, very sad, you know, horrible moments. But there were beautiful moments, in the sense that these people — the families and also the people that were so badly injured that I was with — they love our country.

Q But what to do they want in terms of gun laws?

THE PRESIDENT: And, frankly, do you want to know the truth? They love their President.

Q What do they want in gun laws?

THE PRESIDENT: And nobody wrote that. Nobody wrote that because you didn’t write the truth. The New York Times doesn’t like to write the truth. But — but they love — they totally love our country and they do love our President.

So when I went to Dayton, and when I went to El Paso, and I went into those hospitals, the love for me — and me, maybe, as a representative of the country — but for me — and my love for them was unparalleled. These are incredible people. But if you read the papers, it was like nobody would meet with me.

Q What did they tell you that they want in terms of gun laws?

THE PRESIDENT: Not only did they meet with me, they were pouring out of the room. The doctors were coming out of the operating rooms. There were hundreds and hundreds of people all over the floor. You couldn’t even walk on it. So, you know, there’s a lot to happen.

Q You’re talking to the NRA, I’m wondering what —

THE PRESIDENT: The people in Dayton — let me just explain. The people in Dayton, people of El Paso — these are incredible people. And those victims and the survivors and the families — I love those people.
Also, during a question about the economy he referred to himself as the chosen one. :|

I'm pretty sure they're still around Donny. Also threatening to dump hundreds of ex-Isis fighters back into Europe, fucking hell

I think its a great idea. We should use nukes to solve a lot of issues. Backstop - nuke it. Bad day at work - nukes. That itch in your back you cannot quite reach - get those mushroom clouds ready. Surprisingly when you use nukes to solve a problem, the original problem becomes less important. Its genius.

Sorta true, though. He was the one chosen to be President.

Relations between Iran and the US have deteriorated since Washington withdrew from a 2015 deal to limit Iran's nuclear activities last year.

However, on Monday, Mr Trump said he had "good feelings" about the prospect of a new nuclear deal with Iran.

"Iran is not the same country it was two and a half years ago when I came into office," he told reporters at a joint G7 press conference with French leader Emmanuel Macron.
What about the country you ordered bombed a few months ago, but were talked out of it at the last minute?

Possible evidence of graft involving US military spending on Prestwick Airport and the conveniently-nearby Trump resort.
