Fucking bummer.
What a dude he was. RIP Bunny.

I expect I’ll see drivers who surpass Hamilton in my lifetime, but I don’t expect there will ever be a commentator as great and unique as Murray Walker.
RIP.
RIP.
Re: Celebs are still dropping off....
Shit.
Murray Walker should be the image next to "Enthusiasm" in the dictionary. I suspect he's a large part of the reason I love F1 today, because as a kid his incomparable excitement got me involved in what could be a pretty complicated sport that would otherwise not have beaten a child's attention span.
There aren't many celebrities that I dread appearing in this thread. Murray was one of them.
I will end by posting probably my favourite advert of all time, which I think exemplifies everything I loved about Murray Walker.

Oh man words can't express this one, Murray was the voice of my childhood love of F1, the man whose voice guided me into a life of being a total petrolhead. Absolutely gutted to read this, total legend and will never be surpassed.

Honestly I've had more fun listening to famous Murray Walker quotes this evening than the film I watched.
"I'm going for first says John Clelland."
"There's nothing wrong with his car except that it's on fire."
"The lead car is absolutely unique, except for the one behind it which is identical."

Great in Alien and one of my favourite Bond villains. Also turned down role of Picard in Next Generation which I never knew!

Damn. I haven't seen her in anything other than Archer, but Mallory was probably my favourite character.
