Yes, assuming I don't have any significant side effects from my second jab tonight.

Oh lord, I've just remembered last week's cliffhanger

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference if you're Charr
Whatever line you took from Jeff
Could spell your dooooom...
Also I think it's pertinent to point out this section from the Wish spell:

Also I think it's pertinent to point out this section from the Wish spell:
In other words, if you don't cast any spells (excluding cantrips, they're okay) before taking a long rest, you'll be fine. You know, aside from whatever consequences there are from the results of the wish. The Stress of casting this spell to produce any Effect other than duplicating another spell weakens you. After enduring that Stress, each time you Cast a Spell until you finish a Long Rest, you take 1d10 necrotic damage per level of that spell. This damage can't be reduced or prevented in any way. In addition, your Strength drops to 3, if it isn't 3 or lower already, for 2d4 days. For each of those days that you spend Resting and doing nothing more than light activity, your remaining recovery time decreases by 2 days. Finally, there is a 33 percent chance that you are unable to cast wish ever again if you suffer this Stress.

Good job we don't have any climactic boss battles with the offspring of any deities coming up in the immediate future.

Hmm, yes, you make a valid point. Drawn any good cards from that Deck of Many Things recently?
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Funny you should ask, not lately no! Reckon we might be able to snag a few decent ones out of it before the fight?
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Worth a shot.
Edit: It's not really worth a shot.

No you're right, it's definitely worth a shot. If we draw enough we're bound to get a good one eventually, so what do you say? Four cards? Five?
I can almost feel Wrath's anxiety from here.

I reckon we just deal them all out between the three of us and slap 'em down in turn like we're playing Uno...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Alas, I think Sage's days of playing with the deck are behind him. An undetermined eon stuck in limbo being experimented on by logicians and his new law abiding patron have mellowed out his more chaotic tendencies. I was actually considering dropping the deck into the lava as a symbolic gesture when he swore allegiance to Asbrodeus down in the hell plane, but I couldn't quite bring myself to entirely let them go. Instead he'll keep them as a chilling reminder of what happens if you give the gods of chance the finger too many times.
Also, I'd feel pretty bad if I pulled another card and totally derailed the campaign again.

Give them to Jeff, he's a level-headed, trustworthy sort.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Better yet, every Jeff we encounter from here on gets to draw as many cards as he likes from it.
