The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's personal
Just to say I’ve not forgotten about this, but it may be another week or two before I can start it as I’ve come back from holiday and there’s all sorts going on that needs dealing with. Bloody real life interfering with pretend life!
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's personal
Absolutely fine with me. My availability is all over the place at the moment and I'm not sure I could commit to a weekly thing just yet.

Yeah, life my end is a bit hectic right now so not to worry at all

Right, so after a much longer period of work chaos than I expected, things are starting to calm down and I should have time to finally put this into motion!
First thing's first: roll call. Who (if anyone) is still up for this? I could pencil in one night next week to start.

Yeah, I'm still up for it
I do think bearing in mind how things fizzled out last time that it's important those taking part are able to commit to a weekly session... it doesn't need to be a regular slot each week as jobs and life etc can get in the way, but if one or two drop out it's hard to keep it going.

If I can take my barbarian Truss Ironshaft out if retirement I'd be tempted.

Agreed - obviously life gets in the way sometimes, but if we're doing this then it would be with the intention of it being a weekly thing.Sly Boots wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:31 pmYeah, I'm still up for it

Definitely! With the current team line-up, a bit of sheer muscle would be welcome. If I can take my barbarian Truss Ironshaft out if retirement I'd be tempted.

This pleases Truss
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's personal
I could potentially fit this in around December, but it's a very busy period for call-outs at work so I'm not certain on how reliable I could be for a weekly session.

D: No Bellis, no party.
TBH while I certainly could do a campaign this side of Christmas, in reality I'm going to be pretty flat-out with various things, so would be more than willing to wait until the new year if that makes it easier to get all our party together.

My life is a little complicated at the moment, but I'm still up for giving this a go. I do think it's better to choose a regular time during the week and try our best to stick to it though.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's personal
Tell you what, let’s leave it till the new year, which will give me plenty of time to prep a most excellent adventure (air guitar optional).
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's personal
Assuming everyone’s still up for this, how’s next week for a starting point? I can do any evening except Fridays - I’m free from 5.30pm but I seem to recall that 8pm to 10pm worked best for most people.

Count me in
Most nights are ok for me at the moment, from 8pm sounds good as we're generally on top of the bedtime chaos by then.

I'd like to do this but my schedule is going to make it needlessly difficult for the rest of you. For instance, I am only available on Wednesday for the whole of next week.
Is the plan still to use D&D Beyond and Roll20?
