Something old, something new...

Post by Paul » Tue Sep 11, 2018 7:59 pm

Something something, it's me - Paul.

So, what the heck happened to Preys-World?

Thanks to Snowy for pointing me in this direction. I hope you're all keeping well out there <3

Prey decided he needed to move on, and he didn't want his name heading what was left. Mantis stuck a voting thread up asking what to do next, and the consensus was a new forum.

I think when all's said and done, that really it was Edwin's fault.

I know he'd been having his doubts for years.

Shame he has moved on though. I hope he's doing well.

You can't keep a good Edwin down, he'll be back!

Paul bought PW, got bored of it after a month and now he’s bought TGA. Just like he does with consoles ;)

Ha ha! My days of impulse purchasing are long gone. I have to spend my money on the kids now :< I'm fast becoming a bloody charity case - my 'gaming' PC is years and years out of date.

Sounds strangely familiar.
Between tedium and fright
Such is the song of the nether world
The hissing of rats
And the jarring chants of angels

That's a shame. BTW do we still have a Edwin filter?

Edit: WE DO!

I wonder if he finally got a bit fed up of that?

Although, I seem to recall his posting was becoming less and less frequent in the final year or so. The old place still forwards to here, so you never know he might decide to sign up at some point...

It's just dawned on me that we turned a month old the other day. That time has kind of flown by.

Feels like two months to be honest!

The hissing of rats
And the jarring chants of angels

It still amazes me to think that most of us have effectively grown up within this community.

I know I must sound like a stuck record, but c'mon... I was what, 15 years old when I started posting in PCGF / PW? Now I'm (almost) 33, married / kids.

Time bloody flies.
