I hate vanity projects like this. That and the whole big Ben thing. Let's wipe all the bullshit under the corner with this 50p.

I'm a bank cashier who hates his job. Coming across these things at random intervals may well break me.

Are they intended for circulation, or are they limited run coins intended for collectors to waste money on and then hand down to their grandchildren, who couldn’t give a shit and will throw it in a drawer?

Also I can’t decide if Javid’s expression in that photo is tearful hysteria or mid-dump strains.

I'm a bank robber on absolute edge that any day I'll get caught. Coming across these things at random intervals may well break me.
Fixed for Rusty, then.

About three million Brexit coins will enter circulation around the UK from Friday, with a further seven million to be added later in the year.

The real pisstake is that tagline, Brexit is the polar opposite of all those things.

"Division, poverty and a distrust of furriners"

Almost doesn't feel like it's even happening now. I think grim acceptance hit most people when Johnson won the election, it certainly feels like we'll be leaving with a whimper tomorrow.
