(if I've understood correctly she can fire after you've revealed the enemies?)

Correct, you can even move 2 further steps into the room if you wanted to as well with your 4 movement.

You discover 2 Gretchins!

Cool, before I attack, can I ask if marines can move diagonally? Ie, can Drake (assault cannon) reach V18 and then fire?

Edit: and if he's there, does the cannon have the range to hit the gretchin to his top-left?

Yes, Marines can move diagonally and move through other Marines. And yes he'd be able to reach both Gretchins from there.

Although you might as well take a shot at the north Gretchin with the Plasma gun, just in case the Assault cannon misses?

EDIT: All guns have full range. There are no limits.

Cool, yes, was just planning ahead. Vasquez takes a step into the room and opens fire on the gretchin to the north.

Just a little reminder of how the 3 heavy weapons work:

The Plasma Gun only fires in straight lines on the game board, including diagonally. But every single target along that line receives the full damage. (Probably the most powerful weapon in the game).

The Assault Cannon can have its total damage shared between multiple targets. So with a 1 & 3 you could use 2 damage to kill one Ork and the other 2 damage to kill another Ork, etc.

The 5 is a miss, but the 2 counts & is more than enough damage to decimate the Gretchin (who has 0 armour). That's your first kill!
