I'm a spawn of Pontefract, Yorkshire's answer to unhealty eating (Haribo), regicide (Richard II) and modern mass murder (Harold Shipman). It is also the only place in the world where you can see three power stations from one point.

I recently learned that Guy Fawkes, born in York and raised a Protestant, converted to Catholicism and was "radicalised" (to coin a modern phrase) in Harrogate.

When you go to use the toilet or tea-point at work and somebody else is in the same room as you, requiring you to immediately leave and hope to find another toilet or tea-point somewhere else in the building.

Maybe that's just me. ¬_¬

On a similar note: needing to do a poo at work.

Oh man I run like clockwork, and for me the morning shit (shortly after getting to the office and having some coffee) is one of the most enjoyable parts of my working day. The shit I have to deal with for the rest of it...

We only have one gents' cubicle at work, so it would be awkward if I tried to share the room.

I have view of the office kitchen from my desk, so I can time my brews for when it's empty if I'm particularly anxious.

Likewise. Particularly satisfying because you're on the clock. I worked out how much I get paid a year to sit on the loo a while back and it was quite a sizable sum.

This would be great if you had a private bathroom. Otherwise, I do everything in power to ensure nobody even knows I went to the loo.

I've seen a new 'worst christmas decoration' this year; a projector (probably just a bulb behind some moving cutouts) that projects rapidly moving silhouettes of christmas trees and santa hats onto the front of a neighbour's house. The movement resembles that of cartoon ghosts, so much so that I suspect that it was just a repurposed halloween decoration.

Can you sabotage it?

I'd like it to maybe say some rude Christmas phrases like "Hey ladies, check out my baubles" or something like that.
