Dog shit. How the fuck in this day and age do people think it's ok to leave dog shit laying about? On my way to and from work I have to keep one eye on the ground for dog shit and the other on dip shits fixated on their phones. Wankers.

It's funny to watch how petty and vicious Kyrgios can be, and how open he is about being a dick. To list a few things, he's outright said that he doesn't really enjoy tennis, he throws matches because he's bored (at one time telling the umpire to call time so he could go home), he admitted yesterday that he was trying to hit Nadal with the ball. He frequently gets hit with fines of thousands of pounds, but he doesn't really care because his prize money is far in excess of that.

I don't think he's earned the "Bad Boy of Tennis" title that the media have given him. McEnroe earned that title. Kyrgios is just a petulant arse.

As much as I love watching Federer play, and Nadal also... tennis does need characters in the sport. I always enjoyed watching McEnroe, Ivanisevic, they always had the potential to make it interesting. Having nice guys supremely good at the sport is all well and good, but you need a bit of spice to add interest as well. A bit like how snooker would be the lesser for not having O'Sullivan.

Kyrgios has talent though, it's just his psychology is screwed, and it doesn't work for the best for him. Mac was a genius, Nick is just damned annoying ...

This horrible muggy heat, I really hate it. I am a delicate pale skinned creature who shuns the sun, this shit is killing me.

I am in London atm, as a Welshman I am disturbed at the unnatural searing bright ball in the sky.
Is it the End Times? From the heat, I've been judged already....

Edit: And I've just found out there's an extra 1.5m people expected today for the Pride march. God I pick my times. FML.😢

I work with a Sicilian who loves the sun and the hot weather. I am the exact opposite. As a result, I don't think there's ever been a day where both of us were happy at the same time ¬_¬

Hot weather. Any weather in positive degrees Celsius is above my preferred temperature, but fuck me 24c is too much. If I was in France or Spain I'd be heading underground to live with the mole people at this point.
I miss the glorious lows of 24c. :(

It wouldn't be so bad but I've had flu for the last three days so lying around with a fever in the heat is just about killing me.

You're not wrong. Thermostat in the house is reading over 30o the last couple of days, which is basically unheard of. Tried having all doors and windows open to create a draft supplemented by fans, then today, on my wife's suggestion, keeping all curtains closed (with fans again), but using both methods I'm still melting.

Yesterday we took the kids to one of the local parks where there's a large paddling pool, I went in my trunks and just submerged myself in 12-inch deep water for about an hour, it was lovely.

It hit 35 degrees in my office this afternoon, at which point we all decamped to one of the student computer cluster rooms which was free to bask in the air conditioning.

Cycling home was horrendous too; you know when you get caught in the exhaust air flow from a bus and it's just a wall of heat? Yeah, that, but had to cycle through it constantly.

We had three fans in our room in the office which created a vortex of fire. My knees were sweating at one point - I didn’t realise that was possible.
