Autocorrect.

Today I had to plank a box for a woman at work to collect. What I wanted to say was that it was hidden in the “wee inshot” before the petrol station.

The message I sent her read:
“Wee I shit on the left before you’d turn right into services“


I’ve been laughing about it all morning whatever that says about me

We did that to a guy in work once. When he left his PC unlocked we set it to autocorrect "The" with "Balls" on his emails. Once his boiling rage calmed we all had a good laugh about it.

Glad it wasn't just me.

After looking up a Scottish slang dictionary "Plank" means to hide something. "inshot" I've no idea...

A short cut off that immediately leads to a dead end be it a gate into a farm or whatever. Not a layby, not a road, just a wee inshot. Ye ken?

I'd been talking to my parents about a new shower they've had installed and I was trying to find the model they'd got. I'd heard them say it was a "grower" (which turned out to be Hansgrohe).

Googling "grower shower" did not produce expected results.
