Very underrated gem of a game and would love another title set in the lore too.
Mr Annoyed and Proud of it.

This was the one that Prey went absolutely lyrical about wasn't it? Played a bit like a single-player WoW? I had it and played it but it never sunk its claws in with me.

Yeah. The combat was well-implemented and the crafting system was nice, but the world itself was as shallow as a puddle, and it was just far too large - a big expanse filled with very little of note.

I disagree, the quest design was very MMO like but the writing and lore was more involved than most MMOs.

I remember Prey banging on about it alright. Played but couldn't get into it myself. Wasn't it originally intended to be an MMO but got changed to a single player at some point?

That sounds familiar AM.
I recall I tried a couple of times to get into it, each time on the back of Dave's frenzied enthusiasm, it just didn't grab me.

No, this was meant to be the first in a series of games using the IP with the MMO coming next.Animalmother wrote: βTue Jun 09, 2020 10:46 amI remember Prey banging on about it alright. I banged on about it too! It was a delightful 3rd person ARPG with probably the best crafting system I recall in a game of its ilk, of which I've played.
Didn't set the world alight, but was very polished and fun.

I'm another who tried it a couple of times and bounced off it. I'll give the remake a go though, as I've always felt like I could enjoy it if I persevered and there are plenty of people who sing its praises.

Out the 8th of September for 35 of your British pounds. They also announced that they are working on an expansion for 2021.
