Fallout 4

Post by Lee » Tue Sep 18, 2018 9:35 am

So there is a team doing what I consider is something really awesome and hope it comes to completion and that is New Vegas in Fallout 4 engine :D

No ETA on when to expect it but this would get me to install Fallout 4 to play.

That would be pretty cool. I tried to replay NV not that long ago but was put off by the fact it has aged really badly.

New Vegas is the only 'Bethesda' Fallout I have never played. No reason, I just never got around to it.

I will certainly give this a go when its done. Skywind is the other major mod I am aware of that I will play.

I'd never played it before. Downloaded it a couple months ago, played for an hour, deleted it. The graphics were atrocious, I couldn't get past that to delve into the game itself :(
If Edwin's being an Edwin does he call himself an Edwin?

I paid for FO3 and NV on Steam after seeing (a few months ago) trailers for both this and New California - obviously this one doesn't involve either game, but I was hyped for older, better FPS Fallout by those trailers to essentially buy the games a second time (having played them previous on 360).

Gee thanks Bethesda for a crappy-ass update that borks a bunch of my mods :( Just great.
[edit] finally just went in and player.equipitem 00021b3b via console. But now I'm back to the ugly damned pipboy instead of the awesome holographic one that was working fine until the update

I've hit level 64 in this and am now just starting to take the main quest seriously. Love this game.

Is that the one with a load of crap over the screen that stops you seeing about a 1/4 total of it?

Only mod I ever tried was the one that clears the screen up. I refused to go any further without it.
