Serious Sam 4 Out August

Croteam showed off some Serious Sam 4 footage and gave a release date of August. Game is also up for pre-order on Steam for £30.99.

It doesn't look great I have to be honest and there appears to be a fair amount of asset re-use from The Talos Principle.

Yeah... I've not played it but I've watched a video of the opening half hour. I didn't realise until the end that I wasn't watching a video of the previous game which came out in 2011 (in my defence it was Eurogamer's Late to the Party series that typically only looks at old titles).

It's... remarkably cheap looking. There's a certain charm to that perhaps, and it's clearly playing up to the fact with the truly awful dialogue, but I feel Doom 2016 and Eternal have sorta ruined the fast-paced shooter genre.
