I used to get journo perks for Battlefront games, which I neglected to take advantage of for years after I stopped being "hired", until one day I realised I was still getting the emails and that, so I asked if I could have a free copy of whatever Combat Mission game was out at the time.
They asked me to verify just which site I worked for nowadays. Rumbled.
DLC announcement soon. Slim chance (according to me) of any new stuff within 12 months? Hopefully I'll be wrong and they're nearly finished the first DLC...you never know.

DLC chat here (recommend using Chrome to translate and search for "DLC"). I'm always after more content - quite rare for campaigns these days (well, on PC anyway). Wonder how many games with DLC were bought - wouldn't have thought that many although consoles may have done better than PC... https://itc.ua/articles/andrey-prohorov ... budushhee/
So, 2 expansions/data packs/mission disks/DLC... whatever you want to call them. The first -soon -traditional Metro (tunnels) stuff by the sound of it and the second -more interesting- sandbox survival level but not until next year. Blimey, why does development take so long...
Nice to have some new content TOMORROW! ...checks I'm not going out tomorrow evening. Corridor based which is not my favourite but better not complain before I;ve even played it :-)
EDIT: activation is at 1700 CEST on the 20th.

Exodus available for £7.50 with a voucher (read the hotukdals post to find out how to get the £10 off). Good game for the holidays if you've got some free time...second DLC shouldn't be too far away either. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/epic-h ... on-3369471
So I've played the first hour or so via Gamepass for PC, basically the intro section until you escape the city and everything opens up.
Enjoying it so far. Everything has been a bit frenetic, but I'm hoping once it goes open-world it'll slow down a bit as I generally like to take my time a bit in this type of game and not get harried from one checkpoint to the next.
I've yet to complete a Metro game (I was really enjoying Last Light until I put it down one day despite being quite near the end, and never picking it up again) - maybe this will be the one!

It's definitely not so railroaded once it opens up but be warned I spent absolutely ages trying to get inot somewhere that looks like I should but it eneded being a story blocked entrance. Grr. Second playthrough I'll probably not bother wandering so much and just follow the markers
