Did the mission earlier where...
Spoiler
you let Johnny take over your body and it turns into the video for Smack My Bitch Up
Finally unlocked the fibre wire so I'm slicing fools up with wild abandon.

Man, I rushed to unlock that and I've been having an absolute blast with it.

I've done whole levels where I remember taking ages to stealth around the map, these time I'm just wading straight in with my laser-whips and sending limbs flying :D

Got my hands on the Porsche 911, gorgeous looking car and it moves like the fucking clappers!
Spoiler
Also now have Johnny's jacket, shades, gun and a few other bits and pieces
The difficulty has spiked a bit on some missions and I'm dying more frequently. Many a simple stealth mission has turned into a limb scattering bloodbath.

Did you miss Johnny's trousers? They're the only ones in the game that don't look awful

You can find them on the gig Psychofan, somewhere in the Padre's region, if you've not done it yet.

Make sure to keep your armour as high as possible, mid-game I've got it around the 1,500 mark and most of the time feel like an absolute tank.

How is the car handling after the supposed improvements? Is it incrementally better, or are they actually driveable now?

I still think the driving is terrible, it could just be me but I can't take a corner or overtake without slamming into something. The AI cars seem to have similar problems.

Will keep an eye out for said trousers. It irks me somewhat that a ripped t-shirt can have a higher armor value than an actual purpose made set of body armor in the game.

I'd say mixed, personally. The starting car you get handles like a drunk in a shopping trolley, but I was given a more high performance car as a reward for finishing a fixer's gigs and I love it. Until then I was driving Jackie's bike everywhere, which I also think handles well and is enjoyable to ride.

It's usually Jackie's bike for me, as well, and also putting some actual effort into understanding the keyboard driving, like using braking properly, that sort of thing. Is there a way to downshift? I haven't even looked. That would help tremendously.

Last night I finally

got it on with Judy. That whole sequence of missions was really quite fun, and some surprisingly tender moments in an otherwise monstrously dire city and life. It's interesting how the virtual relationship and the narratives that go along with it change the game immensely. It's not just this shooter, it's not just this collect-all-the-stuff RPG, not just ticking off mission boxes. It feels like I've done something that matters.

Another pretty big update was released yesterday with more bug fixes. I haven't played this in a few weeks and it was running pretty well back then so anything that improves it further is very welcome.

CDPR's stock value fell by 75% after the release of Cyberpunk. I'd be surprised if they don't drop it after the promised dlc is released.

I'd be very much up for some Cyberpunk DLC. The stories and missions in the base game were really good and hopefully with a bit more time they will have tightened up the gameplay a bit.

There was a pretty hefty update yesterday so played for the first time in months. I didn't notice any changes but it's been so long since I last played I just couldn't tell. I think the update allows you to change the stats on clothes so you can actually look halfway cool without sacrificing armour. I also think they may have lowered the cost of apartments and vehicles. Going to try and put more time in and actually get somewhere with it.

I think I read you can change your appearance at a ripperdoc now.

Just looking at my previous posts on this game. Apparently I only play it after there's been an update then forget about it again

So I had a go and never realized I was just at the last bit of the main story mission. Completed that and since it's been so long since I last played I had no fucking clue what was going on....
Spoiler
Sent Johnny into the abyss and next thing I know I'm doing a space walk with a gun. Game ends...wtf did I miss there!?
