Steam says 17 hours, which sounds about right. On the face of it a shortish game (for this genre), but actually it didn't really feel like it. It's quite a dense game, if that makes sense. The act of sneaking around, making sure you've scouted properly before each encounter and picked the right ambush spot makes it seem longer, but that's a good thing. If it was a 50-hour game maybe that level of strategy would start to grate, and so in that sense it doesn't outstay its welcome. Even to the very last encounter, with the best weapons in the game fully maxed, enemies still had the capability to tear through your party if you didn't take care to pick off the outlying stragglers and plan the ambush properly.

Very good game, ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, though... not sure if a sequel has been confirmed yet but it's certainly left open for one, or at the very least some post-story DLC.

How are you guys finding it?

I might pop back to this after hitting a bit of a brick wall in Ashen.

Just had a YouTube lets play on this (probably some sneaky watching of my googling habits) and damn it looks quite good. But damn it's expensive

Seed of Evil expansion to Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 30th, 2019! Yep, that's right Nintendo Switch-fans, that means the full game will also be released on Switch on July 30th.

The expansion will not only contain hours of additional gameplay, there will also be new locations to visit and a brand new playable character, Khan the Moose!

I enjoyed the base game - it's very good and currently heavily discounted on Steam incidentally - but not sure whether I'd buy DLC content. Although it was good I don't feel particularly driven to replay or play additional missions. Not sure why.

As it's something that picks up after the main game (which I still don't have a burning desire to play through again), I may well pick this up at some point. I'd be interesting to know how many hours it adds before jumping in.

I played a bit on the Xbox and I've been meaning to play it now I have it on PC.
