Division improved via free updates, you don't have to make a course correction via paid for stuff. There is also a big difference between Destiny and Anthem as Destiny had a good base to work of off, Anthem is coming from a much lower point. I think if they try to sell people a reboot of the game then the series is done. I think that the fact Anthem has been received so badly means free stuff is more likely in order to try and build up a player base.
To be honest given the state of the launch and the reception its received from critics and players alike, my expectation at this point is they'll throw some stuff at it over the next few months (ie the roadmap they've put out) before abandoning it. There's a strong chance it might not be salvageable.

I think it is salvageable to a point, but only in making a bad game a mediocre game. There are issues with the game that I don't think you can solve without completely redoing the game. You can fix the loot and introduce more interesting missions and end game content, but the AI, combat and loading issues are more ingrained.

Youtuber gets banned for... basically just playing the game:
The guy was apparently banned for just roaming around in free play opening chests. No hacks, no cheats.
That's ridiculous.

Oh it's worse he was streaming his gameplay so of course others could see how easy it was due to Bioware bungling it and had to be punished for it!. IS there like a sarcasm emote that I haven't noticed in the smilies to use?
IT's like all these games that push the games services ie Destiny etc. They will ban first before taking any blame for it themselves.

Fallout 76: I think I had the worst launch of any game in history.
Anthem: Hold my beer.

Sony have started issuing refunds for Anthem due to this issue. Same happened with Andromeda, clearly an issue with the way Bioware use Frostbite.
Personally I had fun with Andromeda, the main issues were the story and antagonists, both of which were forgettable at best. But as noted in the article, the combat and exploration were excellent, in many ways the best of the franchise. Like the article notes, Andromeda is probably the worst ME game, but that's like being the worst athlete at the Olympics.
