Let's Play... XCOM 2 (War of the Chosen)!

It's been on my mind to do a LP basically since this forum began months back, but no new games have really lent themselves to it terribly well. However, I've recently been dabbling with XCOM 2 again recently and thought I might do a Gamer's Arms Iron Man playthrough and see how far we get.

I'm not sure yet how often I'll update it, I'd like to post something at least a couple of times a week but keep it moving relatively quickly so not dwelling too long over each mission (like the Battle Brothers one where I had half a dozen images for each fight).

So, first question to ask, who fancies being in Team GA?

I won't go too mad in the character creator, but also let me know if you have a preferred colour scheme, and whether you want your character to be grim and serious, or fun and silly.

Might look to kick things off once we've got a few signed up, hopefully over the weekend.

Great! I think we have enough for an initial squad to get the ball rolling, but we'll need more as fatigue and injuries start to take a toll.

Quick note on the playthrough, I'm going on Commander difficulty, one down from Legend which scared me. I'm also doing an Iron Man playthrough however, so no in-mission saves and decisions, and deaths, are final.

I'm running a few mods, mostly some quality of life stuff, some extra armour skins that sort of thing, but I talk about them as they become relevant. Nothing dramatically game-changing however.
